isUP-AgrO
Project Work Packages
The isUP-AgrO project is organized into six Work Packages (WPs), covering all essential activities needed to achieve the project's objectives. Each WP includes a set of interconnected tasks, focusing on areas such as coordination, training, staff exchanges, research management, communication, and the implementation of an exploratory research project. This structure ensures that the project progresses in an organized manner, delivering tangible results at each phase.
Overall Expected Outcomes of the WPs
The Work Packages of isUP-AgrO are designed to ensure the structured and continuous progress of the project. With the execution of all planned activities, the following outcomes are expected:
- The transformation of ISOPlexis into a leading center in agrobiodiversity.
- The strengthening of the team's skills through training, staff exchanges, and research management.
- The application of new technologies and sustainable solutions in agriculture, with a direct impact on the resilience of island agricultural systems, particularly in the vineyards of Madeira.
WP1 - Project Coordination and Management
WP1 focuses on the overall coordination of the isUP-AgrO project, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and within the established timelines. This work package includes resource management, communication with partners, and the supervision of research tasks.
WP2 - Training Schools and International Workshops
WP2 focuses on organizing 5 training schools, to be held in Madeira approximately every 5 months. The aim is to update and deepen the knowledge of the ISOPlexis team on topics relevant to agricultural research and the bioeconomy sector.
WP3 - Staff Exchange
This work package focuses on conducting 4 staff exchanges to promote knowledge sharing between partner institutions and enable the ISOPlexis team to develop new skills in agricultural research.
WP4 - Research Management, Networking, and Proposal Development
WP4 aims to improve research management at ISOPlexis, empowering the administrative team to manage R&I (Research and Innovation) projects more efficiently, particularly in proposals funded by the European Union.
WP5 - Communication and Dissemination
This WP focuses on communicating and disseminating the project's results to a broader audience, including researchers, farmers, policymakers, and the general public. Through workshops, webinars, and publications, isUP-AgrO seeks to ensure that the knowledge generated is widely shared and effectively applied.
WP6 - Research Project
WP6 is the work package that brings together the knowledge and skills acquired in the other work packages. It focuses on applying these insights to a research project based on Madeira vineyards, which are crucial to the region but face significant climatic challenges.
