With exemplary dedication and a strong connection to the land, Maria Rosalinda shared her experience as a woman farmer, highlighting the challenges and opportunities she has encountered throughout her journey. Her story reflects the resilience, innovation, and essential contribution of women to the sustainable development of rural communities in Madeira.
The isUP-AgrO project has been collecting real testimonies from women who, through their work and vision, are transforming the regional agricultural landscape. These stories aim not only to give voice to the women leading the sector but also to inspire and encourage greater female participation in agriculture.
We believe that sharing these experiences is a fundamental step toward strengthening the role of women in agriculture and promoting equal opportunities in this vital sector for the future of our communities.
