Women’s participation in agriculture – testimony

Within the scope of the isUP-AgrO project, real testimonies will be collected about women's participation in agriculture and ways to encourage a greater female presence in this sector.

Thus, we present the testimony of Fátima Rodrigues, who works in Fajã dos Padres, sharing her vision on the role of women in agriculture.

Fajã dos Padres is an organic farm with a specific microclimate that favors the cultivation of subtropical species, some of which are difficult to adapt to most other places on Madeira Island.
