isUP-AgrO Consortium Meets to Align Strategies and Next Project Steps

Within the framework of the European project isUP-AgrO – Unlocking the Potential for Agricultural Research on an EU Outermost Region: boosting ISOPlexis Centre, the consortium partners met on 11 and 12 December 2025, fostering a moment of strong coordination and collaboration among the participating institutions. isUP-AgrO – Unlocking the Potential for Agricultural Research on an EU Outermost Region: boosting ISOPlexis Centre, os parceiros do consórcio reuniram-se nos dias 11 e 12 de dezembro de 2025, promovendo um momento de forte articulação e colaboração entre as entidades envolvidas.

All partners were physically present at the University of Madeira, allowing for close interaction, joint preparation of activities, and in-depth strategic discussions. All consortium beneficiaries were represented: the University of Madeira (UMa), as project coordinator, the University of Parma (Italy), IRNAS-CSIC (Spain), and Saturntech, Unipessoal Lda.

Throughout the meeting, partners aligned key messages, reviewed the status of ongoing activities, and discussed cross-cutting topics relevant to the project’s development, including coordination, strategic planning, dissemination and communication, as well as future publications and joint project submissions. Contributions from the different Work Packages and the involvement of the Advisory Board were also addressed.

Discussions continued over the two days, with a particular focus on the next project actions, planned timelines, and the strengthening of cooperation among institutions, consolidating a shared vision for the future implementation of isUP-AgrO.

This meeting represented a key moment for strengthening the partnership and consortium coordination, reaffirming the joint commitment to enhancing agricultural research capacity in an EU outermost region.
