Strengthening Collaboration Through Erasmus+ Mobility

As part of an Erasmus+ mobility program, in May 2025, Carla Ragonezi, a researcher from ISOPlexis Center, had the pleasure of visiting the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), where she met with Professor Penelope Bebeli and her research group.

During the visit, it was possible to present the work of the ISOPlexis – Centre for Sustainable Agriculture and Food Technology, based at the University of Madeira, and to share the vision and progress of the project isUP-AgrO.

The exchange sparked insightful discussions around sustainable agriculture, plant genetic resources, and the role of regional research centers in contributing to Europe’s goal for sustainability. It was a valuable moment to explore synergies and potential future collaborations between Madeira and AUA.
