1-year celebration of the isUP-AgrO project!

We’re excited to celebrate 1 year of progress and collaboration in the #HorizonEU TWINNING project, isUP-AgrO – Unlocking the Potential for Agricultural Research in an EU Outermost Region: boosting the ISOPlexis centre.

The main goal of isUP-AgrO is to enhance the scientific and innovation capacity of the ISOPlexis Centre, based in Madeira (Portugal), to become a reference in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Technology at the European level. To achieve this, isUP-AgrO brings together an outstanding consortium: IRNAS-CSIC (Spain), University of Parma (UNIPR) (Italy), and Saturntech (Portugal), working in close cooperation to strengthen research excellence, international collaboration, and innovation at ISOPlexis.

Over the past year, we’ve launched joint activities in capacity building, research planning, and stakeholder engagement - all focused on making agricultural systems smarter, more resilient, and more sustainable.
