What is isUP-AgrO?
The isUP-AgrO project aims to transform the ISOPlexis Center into a center of excellence in sustainable agriculture research. To achieve this goal, the project focuses on intensive networking activities through close collaboration with two leading agricultural research institutes from Italy and Spain, as well as a specialized innovation company from Portugal. This partnership seeks to enhance research management and promote the development of scientific and administrative skills for research and innovation (R&I).
We aim to strengthen ISOPlexis' research capacity and increase its competitiveness at the international level.

THE MISSION
The mission of isUP-AgrO is to transform ISOPlexis into a leading center in the field of agrobiodiversity and bio-resources, promoting sustainability in food production and the efficient use of resources, in cooperation with regional and European stakeholders.
PARTNERSHIPS
isUP-AgrO brings together the efforts of leading institutions.
These entities work in collaboration with the ISOPlexis Center at the University of Madeira (UMa), with the shared goal of enhancing ISOPlexis' research and coordination activities, positioning it as a leader in applied research for sustainable agriculture.

Future Vision
Through an international cooperation network, isUP-AgrO aims not only to enhance the scientific and administrative capabilities of ISOPlexis but also to create a lasting impact on sustainable agriculture and the bioeconomy. With the support of European partners, the project aspires to prepare ISOPlexis to stand out as a center of excellence, capable of leading new research and innovation projects at both regional and international levels.
